A cloudy cask ale, but a malty and potent lager-like aroma and to an extent taste. Maintains a fair head.

Half, cask ale at the JDWs at Piccadilly Gardens in Manchester. White patchy layer. Close to clear amber coloured body. Good lacing. Dry hopped aroma with hints of sweat. Taste of sweaty hops, mid-sweet malts and a drop of honey. Dry bitter ending. Fairly pleasant, but not much for an American IPA. (04.07.2012).

Chelmsford Beer Festival. Clear gold beer, good off white head. Light palate, tiny bit crisp and a little dry. Mild pale malt - slightly nutty. Mild orange and a spot of homey in the finish. One of the better cask lagers but could be crisper.

Bottled. A dark amber beer with a light tan head. The aroma has notes of straw, malt, hops, lemons, and dust. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, malt, toffee, and citrusy hops, leading to a bitter finish.

Cask gravity at Planet Thanet Bf 2012. Clear gold thin white head. Some diacetyl some lager flavour. Yep had real german lagers that taste like this. Just needs to be a bit cleaner and no diacetyl.
