Cask at the Hamilton Hall, JDW - London. Pours clear, red-brown with a creamy beige head. The nose has some lightly tangy berries, plum, toast, earth. Light sweet flavour with ripe berries, toasty bread, burnt caramel, more plum, some leafy hops. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Ripe and lightly leathery berries in the finish, touches of baking cocoa and roast, scorched earth, berries. Good mild.

On cask @ the Standing Order. Appearance - dark brown to black with orange chinks. Nose - chocolate, nuts and general roastiness. Taste - more of the same. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a fairly good creamy finish. Overall - a decent mild.

Cask @ Ship & Mitre, Liverpool. Copper with a small creamy head. More of a typical English bitter than a mild. Light malts, small to medium bitterness.

Cask @ Hole In Ye Wall, Liverpool. Golden-blonde with a small head. Itโs a crisp ale with light hops that exude some bushy floral notes through a dry slightly hoppy character.

Cask at the Wellington, Birmingham. Poured a clear dark brown with a bubbly round, light tan head. The aroma is rich roasted malt, liquorice, coffee, dark chocolate. The flavour is moderate bitter with a smooth burnt roasty light smoke palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Lots going on, but a little light.

On tap at the three horseshoes, Waddington. Deep Amber brown colour, with a tan head. Aroma strewed fruit and caramel, taste is a balanced fruity bitter sweet. Nice beer.

Pint from Three Horseshoes, Waddington. Dark brown almost black with a tan head. Aroma is fruity raspberry, with roasted malt. The taste is sweet and berry fruits. Nice.
