16/8/2025. Can shared by danlo, cheers Ed! Nice colour but less head on this pour. Aroma is chocolate, marshmallow, chocolate crunch, roasted malts, nutty edge. Sweetness is kept subdued by a good dose of roasted bitterness. Medium plus body, quite smooth. Decent.

Can. Mitchell’s Wines. Looks good. Rating lost due to the site going down. Nice lean malt and clean hops. Good easy drinking golde.

Keg draught at the Queens Road Tap, Leicester. Light golden, almost straw. A tint bit hazy with a ring of white head and good lacing. Light aroma of lemon and white grapefruit. Bittersweet taste, citrus hop. Everything is barely indiscernible. Light bitter aftertaste, touch of watermelon. Almost watery body, medium carbonation. Sadly this is too muted to be a great beer.

Can. Mitchell’s Wines. Hazed orange gold. Suds of white. Triple Points beers haven’t had decent swedes lately. Maybe it’s a by product of the gluten free thing. Anyway. Super fruity peachy notes. Bit of ripe pear. Clean malts. Taste is surprisingly bitter and lightly dry. Drinks well under the ABV. Juicy bitterness to finish. Triple Point do their best work when they do stuff out of the ordinary.

Can. Mitchell’s Wines. Hazed glowing gold. Loose white suds. Nose has peach stone. Yellow melon skin. Some pulped orange and sweet lemon. Clean dry malts. Taste is semi sweet with a punchy zesty bitterness. Clean and easy drinking. Decent body. Bitter finish dries out at the close. Another solid offering. Some good easy drinking pale ales coming out of sunny Sheffield at the minute.
