Draught keg at the Triple Point Brewery & Bar, Sheffield. Light gold, a little hazy with a pillowy white head. Light malty aroma, a little spicy. Taste is a revelation: sweet and spicy with a deep doughy malt flavour, followed by a clean lemony bitterness. The sweetness comes back, a bit, with a finish that keeps you going. Light body, medium carbonation. Lovely.

Can picked up at the brewery. Hazed pale gold. Head looks well for a minute before disappearing. Yep, it is what it is. This will fly down at the missus’ gaff where a hazeboi is still all the rage. Milky and green. Not bollocks, but a little bit bollocks.

Can picked up at the brewery. Lightly hazed straw yellow. For a TP bev this has a solid swede. Nose has clean dry malts. Whiff of sour. Hops come across lemony and lightly herbal. Bit of white pepper kind of thing. Taste is lean light dry and bitter. Touch of sweetness. Crisp and refreshing. Good bite of bitterness to finish. Solid kit.

2026 Clitheroe Beer Festival #20. Mildly hazed golden coloured ale. A hoppy tropical fruit balanced brew in both aroma and taste, it's soft enough from keg to order again.

Can picked up at the brewery. Hazed deep orange. Suds of off white foam. Nice colour, awful swede. Smells good though. Sweet orange squash and peachy fleshy citrus and stone fruit. Barely discernible malts but that’s probably how you’d expect given the style. Taste is fairly sweet with a light dryness and minimal bitterness. Fairly thin overall really. Light dry finish. Ok. Smells nice and orangey. Will probably go down a storm at the taproom.

Can picked up at the brewery. Light haze on a pale gold. Slightly less wishy washy a head this one, compared with most other TP pales. Nose has bready malts and lemon peel hop. Some nicely piny notes. Taste has crisp bitterness. Clean and pottable overall. Decent bitterness to finish. Nice one. Plenty happening at the 3%.

Can picked up at the brewery. Mostly clear slightly green tinged gold. Bubbly white foam doesn’t last. Nose has bready malts. Some sweet cereal. Earthy peppery grassy hop with a tad of fruity weirdness. Taste is fairly sweet with a very light bitterness. Touch of sour on the finish, which is probably the only authentic bit about this Helles, to be honest. It’s drinkable but it’s not to style.

Can picked up at the brewery. Light to medium haze on a straw colour. Grotty head, as per most TP pale beers. Nose has very fruity hop. Notes of pineapple and ripe peach. Some fresh pine. Touch of mineral. Light dry malt backdrop. Taste is light bitter and light dry. Bright and easy going overall. Decent bitterness to finish.
