500ml bottle from Myrddin's, Barmouth. Pours a generally clear copper, sparse white head. Malty nose, light marmalade. English bitter feel to taste with a good malty character and a hint of marmalade once again, pleasant hop bitterness rounding things off. Marked down as not a Citrus IPA as labelled.

Panda at home, thanks to Graham Grumbo, 14/09/24. Light black with a beige cap that veers edgewards. Nose is sweet malts, coffee whisper, caramel, vanilla, spun sugar. Taste comprises chocolate sponge, coffee, vanilla, brown sugar malt, light nutty elements, mellow roast, dark malts. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close. Solid flavoursome porter which gets the Tiramisu across rather well.

Bottle. Color: Clear amber, off-white head. Aroma: Malty, floral, hint of citrus fruit. Taste: Malty, caramel malt, floral hop notes, hints of citrus zest. Smooth mouthfeel. Dry-ish hopbitter finish. Medium body, below average carbonation. Moderate sweet, over moderate going to over medium bitterness. Three out of three Myrddins beers that finish very hopbitter, like chewing hop cones... I'm starting to see a trend.

Bottle. Labels of these Myrddins beers are as simple as their name. Only black text with a faint watermark on a white label. Color: Clear golden, white head. Aroma: Hoppy, citrus. Taste: Hoppy, floral and citrus fruit, mostly orange, hints of orange zest. Quite smooth malty backbone. Medium body, just below average carbonation. Light to moderate sweet, over moderate to medium bitterness. Lacking complexity, a bit one-dimensional.

Panda at home, thanks to Graham Grumbo, 21/07/24. Golden orange with a thin white cap that veers to the edge. Nose is orange peel, red berry fruits, plums, sugars, blackcurrant squash. Taste comprises perfume, sugars, red berries, plums. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Passable pale ... doesn't get silly sweet to it's credit though as the plum content has a tangy edge about it.
