1/III/25 - 75cl bottle @ Belgian Beer Geek Gathering (2025 Winter/Spring edition), BB: XI/2029, lot 214-1 (2025-205) Thanks to minutemat for sharing the bottle!
Clear beige to light orange beer, big creamy irregular white to off-white head, unstable, falls down quickly, a bit adhesive. Aroma: funky, weird, a bit oxidized, pretty fruity, more oxidation notes, herbal touch, and pretty floral as well. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: very earthy, malty, a bit sweet, alcohol, more alcohol, very herbal bitterness. Aftertaste: alcohol, sweet touch, more of that herbal bitterness.

Draught @ Brasserie Chromatique. Misty golden yellow pour, small white head. Quite a fruity IPA.. good citrussy feel, grapefruit.. not especially full bodied and NE smooth, but still quite a decent fruity IPA.

Draught @ Brasserie Chromatique. Pours an opaque light pink, small white head. Not much on the nose, perhaps a very distant hint towards red berries. Very light-bodied, airy, very gentle raspberry kiss with soft blackcurrants, a touch watery.. really quite a weak effort.

Draught @ Brasserie Chromatique. Pours a misty yellow, no read head to speak of. Aroma is lemony, melony, floral. Crisp palate with pleasant sharp melon, some lemon notes, crisp sour, drying close. Ok.

Draught @ Brasserie Chromatique. Pours a slightly unclear golden yellow, small white head. Aroma of sweet hop, juicy exotic hints. Gentle sabro to taste, sweet exotic juice with a mild honey suggestion on the finish.. lacks the smooth full body we're accustomed to. Ok.

330ml bottle from Brasserie Chromatique. Pours a clear gold, thin white bubbles atop. Crisp floral hop, some mild canteloupe shades, medium to light bodied, moderately sweet. Nice simplistic hoppy pale with a good fruity hop presence.

440ml can from Noz, Hazebrouck. Pours a cloudy gold, thin bubbles atop. Aroma of fruity apricot, continuing to taste, light carbonation, gentle dry sour touch, complemented by a gentle rosemary and vanilla presence. Well-presented apricot gose.

440ml can from a tourist information centre near Wissant. Pours a murky unclear dull golden amber, small white head that recedes. Dull citrussy pine nose. Billed as a West Coast IPA, but it's west coast lite unfortunately.. lacks the malty sweet punch, lacks the resinous bitter bite. There are mild allusions to both but falls a little flat. My search for a good west coast IPA in France continues.

Draft @ Bon Vent, Calais. Pours hazed dark with a thin off-white head atop. Lovely oatmeal stout.. chocolatey leaning with vanillery accents. Didn't detect any cinnamon unfortunately, perhaps if I read the board properly I would've picked up on it more. Nice settled balanced stout with a slightly creamy body all the same.
