On gravity at the Tewkesbury winter beer festival, 7/2/2014. Reddish-amber, with a slight, off-white head. Sweetish, malty bitter, with some berry fruits and a moderately bitter finish. Ok.

Cask (gravity) @ Microbar, Market Hall, Arndale Centre, Manchester, Greater Manchester, England M4 2HU.Clear medium amber orange color with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, apple, earthy - damp stain - fusty. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, fruity, caramel, earthy - damp stain - fusty, earthy malt. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20130125]

Cask at the Arkwright Arms, Duckmanton, 06/10/13. Clear light golden with a good sized white head that stays for the show. Nose is summer fruit, light cereal waft, toasted malts. Taste comprises citric fruit, mandarin, grass, light hops. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, light citric tang in the finish. I’d have this down as a Golden Blond not a bitter.

Cask at the Arkwright Arms, Duckmanton, 04/10/13. Clear golden with a small white covering. Nose is orange, citrus fruit, hops make their presence, grassy tones. Taste comprises earthy hops, orange pith, tangy citrus. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, dry grassy bitterness in the finish. Decent GB affair.
