Panda from Colin. Hazy-opaque. A dark burnt orange. Frothy foamy translucent white head. Aroma is tangy. Citrusy. Boozy marmalade. Underlying caramel. Fruity but not overly sweet. Peripheral bitterness. Resin. Citrus in the mix. Underlying porridge. Medium bodied. Creamy. Flat-soft carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Warming Marmalade stuff. Seems fitting for the weather.

Can. A light haze on this yellow gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Airy palate, mildly dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Light soft pale malts, a light creamy sweetness. Smooth cooling pine. A very mild skunky note. Light but juicy stone fruits. Very mild hop spice on the finish. Clean and drinkable, needs more hop welly for me.

Cask at Chester Station Tap. Pours almost black with a medium sized foamy beige head and good lacing. There’s sweet malts, dough and honey in the aroma. In the mouth it is quite sweet with a creamy texture. Flavour has roasted malts, lactose and coffee plus hints of honey and custard. Alcoholic strength and a hint of bitterness come through later though the finish remains a little sweet. This is decent.

Can from Caledonian Craft Beer Merchant. Hazy deep golden body with a thick off-white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of honey, burnt orange and charred pineapple. Flavour of passionfruit and dried mango. Medium to full body with a chewy mouthfeel. Soft fizz. Quite boozy and punchy. I enjoyed it.
