Im Glas erstrahlt, erwartungsgemäß, weitestgehend klares, sehr helles Gelb mit leicht grünlichen Reflexen. Die weiße, feinporige Schaumkrone wirkt dabei flaumig und gut haltbar. Die überaus frische, leicht fruchtige (Zitrus, Honigmelone) bis kräuterige Duftaromatik weiß zu überzeugen. Der Antrunk kommt frisch, angenehm rezent, zart malzig und leicht fruchtig bis dezent trocken-kräuterig hopfenherb. Dem Stil entsprechend zeigt sich ein schlanker und eleganter Körper mit angenehm ausgeprägter Rezenz, sehr leichter Textur und sehr zarter Trockenheit. Geschmacklich und aromatisch darf man selbstverständlich kein Feuerwerk erwarten. Eine sehr leichte Malzbasis, welche von leichten Fruchtnoten von Zitrus und Honigmelone begleitet werden und in eine sehr zart trockene, heuig-kräuterige Hopfenherbe übergehen. Sehr filigran, aber unglaublich ausgewogen, sehr harmonisch und wirklich toll arrangiert. So hat man auch richtig Freude an diesem Bier und eine sehr gute Drinkability stellt sich ein. Im Nachtrunk baut die Aromatik erwartungsgemäß recht schnell ab. Auch von der leicht trockenen Hopfenherbe bleibt kaum etwas über.

Can (6/26--best by?) from Total Wine & More, W. Hollywood. Lightly hazy yellow with nice sparkle, thin head with poor retention and no lacing. Aroma is grain with a strong tart fruit element, faint pale malt. Taste follows aroma, mild wheat. Smooth, somewhat watery texture, soft carbonation, dry finish as taste. Seems like the wheat has gone off or something--what's the tartness?

Can drunk in Cupertino with takeout sushi, while waiting to see if America is F&#/€d. Darkest black which matches the political mood, light brown head. Spicy nose with roasted goodness and cardamom. The flavor is dense, chewy but not too sweet, smooth with a light herbal, peppery flavor. Lactose is there but not overwhelming. Really balanced, not overly roasty, spices not overpowering, excellent one!

Can from Corti Bros. Pours slightly translucent gold with a moderate white head that didn't persist. Aroma of unusual citrus. Arguably med body. Flavor is very dry. Moderately bitter. Some malt/wheat matches citrusy hops I'm not familiar with. Sort of like orange, sort of not. Interesting flavor.

A clear pale golden yellow beer with a white head. Aroma of mild grassy hops, pale malt, rice. Taste of dry grainy malt, rice, melon, yeast, moderate bitterness.
