Bottle shared at chriso’s pre-Christmas tasting 2014 - London. Pours hazy pale yellow with a white foam head. The nose holds pale grains, hay, light plastic, slight vinegar. Moderately tart flavor, a little watery, with notes of pale bread and vague fruits. Light bodied with fine, spritzy carbonation. OK finish, a bit more plastic, lemon, melon. Fairly bland but drinkable.

[ As Ashover Melon Sour ].Unclear matt medium yellow color with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, wheat, herbs, moderate yeasty, sour, citrus - mekon. Flavour is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, sour, melon, citrus, sour mild notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20141207]

[ As Ashover Blackberry Sour ].Unclear medium red color with a small, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white silver head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, wheat, moderate yeasty, blackberry, baking yeast. Flavour is moderate sweet and light light acidic with a average duration, tart blackberry, baking yeast, yeasty, tart. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20141207]

Bottle shared at chriso’s winter tasting 7/12/2014. Orange pink reddy coloured pour with a halo of pink head. Aroma is composed of tart blackberry, woody pips, hedgerow berry. Flavour is crisp blackberry tart, woody pips, tart raspberry. Decent fruit character. Palate is crisp and sharp tart fruit.

Bottle shared at chriso’s winter tasting 7/12/2014. Dull yellow straw coloured pour with a fleeting white head. Aroma is melon fruit, stale grains, cheerios cereal, light lime citrus. Flavour is sharp lime, grape, grapefruit, melon fruit. Gose salt, wheat grains, little salt. Ok pretty refreshing.
