Description
Blue Bee Brewery is an independent brewery in the heart of the valley of beer in Sheffield, England.
Blue Bee was set up in 2010 by Richard Hough, former head brewer at Abbeydale, who has also done stints at Acorn, Crown, Spire, Raw and Marble. Starting his own brewery allows him to use this invaluable experience on his own terms, creating beers that are noted for “quality, consistency and with a slight addiction factor”. In 2014 the business was acquired by Reet Ale Pubs, which runs three pubs in Sheffield.

Cask at the Pup & Duckling. Poured a hazy yellow golden colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy, lemon citrus. The flavour is moderate sweet and bitter, with a smooth, yeasty, juicy lemon citrus, light dry hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Ossett Official Pub Walking Tour Beer#7. I kept walking to the Luddite Brewery Tap and found this guest available. A clear pale golden coloured brew, it's creamy tasting, some stewed fruit, with its strength giving it depth. Some orange fruit available, but looks better than tastes.

Hand pulled pint in the Pheasant on 9th June 2026. Clean and clear light golden body, snow white crown on top. Dry and semi bitter with a citrus fruit leaning in both the aroma and taste. Easy going Pale Ale, could easily had another, but I was on a mission!
