Cask @ Calans, Hebden Bridge. Clear paler golden with a creamy head. Lightly tangy with its tropical fruits, it has a smoothish texture, although feels slightly thin.

Cask-conditioned at the Cornubia, Bristol 8/4/2016. Near black in colour, with a frothy, off-white, head. Aroma of chocolate, berry fruits and toasted malts. Flavour had more chocolate, some lactose sweetness, rich and roasted malts, leading to a dryish finish with a slight tangy edge. An enjoyable stout.

On cask at the Guildford Arms. Appearance - amber red. Oily looking. Nicely proportioned head. Nose - light biscuit and red fruit. Taste - orange and red fruit. Dry orange finish. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy yet tangy texture. The finish is dry and tangy. Overall - good. Need to get into it before you get something out of it but it’s good all the same.

Cask. Shakespeare’s, Sheffield. Clear, green tinged, straw colour. Foamy, sticky, white head. Nose has green hop. Bready malts. Not a great deal else. Taste is green hop bitter. Light and bright mouthfeel. Some lemon rind bitterness on the finish. Not the best version.

Cask-conditioned at the Rook & Gaskill, York 21/1/2017. Pale gold in colour, with a slight, white, head. Aroma of tangerines, lemons and a touch of sharp, floral, hop. Flavour had more fruit and biscuity malts, leading to a lingering, bitter, finish. Good.

Cask. Shakespeare’s, Sheffield. Straw colour. Bit of a haze. Thin, super sticky, white head. Nose has sweet grain. Some grassy hop. Smells very green. Taste is fairly dry, and grassy bitter. Crisp, dry palate. Light bitter finish. With a beer induced headache from the night before, this was extremely chuggable.

Cask. Kelham Island Tavern, Sheffield. Pale gold. Soft Haze. Bubbly, lasting, white head. Nose has dry, biscuity malts. Lemon hop. Some stone fruit. Taste is light bitter. Some dryness to it. Light body. Dries further as it goes. Decent golde.
