Description
Blue Bee Brewery is an independent brewery in the heart of the valley of beer in Sheffield, England.
Blue Bee was set up in 2010 by Richard Hough, former head brewer at Abbeydale, who has also done stints at Acorn, Crown, Spire, Raw and Marble. Starting his own brewery allows him to use this invaluable experience on his own terms, creating beers that are noted for “quality, consistency and with a slight addiction factor”. In 2014 the business was acquired by Reet Ale Pubs, which runs three pubs in Sheffield.

Cask. Kelham Island Tavern, Sheffield. Clear, light gold. Bubbly, white head. Nose has sweet orange. Light caramel. Bit of marmalade or apricot jam. Definitely comes over quite sweet. Taste is more of the sweetness. Some resin bitterness. Decent body. Finishes sweet and light, resinous bitter. Ok.
