Draught @ Waterfront Ale House. Slightly hazy reddish amber with small foamy beige head, light grassy hops aroma mixed with caramel, medium carbonation, slightly bitter caramel taste, long finish with a faint hops flavor. Not a very hoppy IPA, more like an amber ale.

Dark amber, clear, thin white head, slight lacing
Aroma of caramelised orange malts, touch of toffee, soft citrus
Taste of very softy citrus zest, orange, light caramel malts, bit of toffee, caramelised orange, slight grassy notes, simple
Palate - Soft carb, medium light bojdy, little oily, soft sweet. Finish of orange malts, caramel, slight zest

Keg @ The Oarsman, Carrick-on-Shannon [280415]
Very dark brown, creamy nitro off white head, good lacing
Aroma of soft roasted malts, dab of red berry fruit
Taste of roasted malts, soft red berry, bitter dark chocolate, touch of smoke, dry roast
Palate - Nitro carb, medium body, smooth texture, dry bitter roast. Finish of bitter burnt roast, long lingering burnt bitter, rather dry
Overall - This had too much burnt dry bitter roast for me, but I’m not that fond of any stout anyway that has a lot of bitter burnt roast. It’s OK.
