Can (5/28/24) pour from Steve. Opaque dark yellow with some nasty dark floaties, nice sparkle and decent head with excellent retention and soapy ring of lacing. Aroma is apricot, pineapple and tropical fruit. Taste is strong candied lemon, orange, background cereal malt. Smooth texture, average carbonation and crisp finish with dry, yeasty bitter finish. Decent complexity and strength. Enjoyable.

16 oz can in a trade with tfontana. Thank you Tom. Flavor has plenty of juicy citrus. Orange, tangelo, and perhaps light grapefruit in the finish. Almost no bitterness. Very easy to drink. By today’s IPA standards this is pretty normal for NE IPA. However, well made and easy to drink.

Draft at Paragon, 7/26/24. Dark brown color, medium brown head. Rich, with sweet coffee, roast, and caramel. Nutty. Very smooth. Rich, full bodied feel. A little dry on the finish to balance the sweetness. Quite nice. 8/4/9/4/17

Draft at Jealous Monk, 6/20/24. It pours a clear darker orange. Mango and pineapple both come through. Sweet early, tart later. Solid. 7/3/7/3/14

Pours golden with a thick white head. Aroma of plain citrus. Taste has citrus, hops, some tropical juice notes, bits of lemon. Palate has more lemon, mild resin, loads of juicy hops. Good.

16 oz can. Aroma and flavor are a mirror. Mango, papaya and mild white grape. Also has a touch of floral hops. Texture is good with absolutely no bitterness. A good amount of juice texture. Although it’s not labeled as a NE IPA, that’s what it is. And a really good one at that!
