Pours hazy gold with a large sudsy head.Nose shows pineapple, peach, nectarine, pine and hefty amounts of sweet-smelling malt.Flavours include more peach, heavy pine, big resinous notes and truckloads of sweet clean malt, a bit over the top. A fair bit of booze too.

Canvent #2 for 2020. Very chocolate forward on nose with vanilla in back. Almost rummy in mouth, along with dry cocoa and toffee. Sweet and creamy. I like.

Pours hazy yellow with a large lasting head.Nose shows orange peel , peach, floral hops, soft grassy and spicy hops, a hint of cookie dough-like malt notes.Flavours include more spicy and floral hops, a bit of orange blossom and a lot more of the biscuity, cookie-dough like malt, but without too much sweetness. Which makes for a very refreshing pale ale.

From a 440ml can on 26/10/2020. Pours cloudy light golden with a small to medium head. Has a quite a strong tropical aroma with a bit of citrus peel in the mix. Tastes quite tropical fruit, pineapple, mango, guava and melon, with a mild tangy bitterness. Full bodied, with a slightly creamy mouthfeel, and moderate to average carbonation. A really solid, double hazy, which doesn't necessarily push any boundaries, but goes down a treat.

Can. Unclear brownish amber with an inch of off white head. Aroma is a mite fumy with pine, bread crust, dark berries, peach, pepper. Full bodied but short of syrupy. Carbonation is just on the low side of moderate and works really well. It's fairly sweet with bread and caramelised peach but resin, pepper and firm bitterness keep it well in check but don't become harsh. On the majestic end of this sort of thing rather than the shouty hop monster end. The next in this series is presumably going to be Odette is in a Coma.

Can for Carwyn Collaborational. Deep amber. Pine needles and almost ginger nut biscuit on nose. Loads of caramel and pine resin plus almost rotten tropical fruit flavours. Bitter plus sweet makes for a feast in the mouth.

Ca. Super fresh. Pours pear juice hazy. Some citrus on nose. Quite underwhelming in the class in the sense that is much more like a chewy pale ale and the more typical juice bomb. Nice gateway beer into the style I guess.

(Can) Great looking beer - very dark brown with big dense tan head. Lovely aroma of chocolate and orange, albeit orange candy. Excellent mouthfeel, full bodied, smooth, creamy, soft carbonation. Taste is full of chocolate, with orange - Jaffa cake, not fresh orange. There’s some pleasant bitterness in the finish. In the background there is an odd, maybe medicinal note. The taste is very clever, and very enjoyable, but a little bit odd. Very enjoyable.

From a 440ml can on 8/9/2020. Pours a slightly cloudy light golden with a medium bright white head. Has a light tropical and citrus nose. Tastes of peach and mango with a touch of lemon, finishing with a strong, zesty citrus peel bitterness. The mouthfeel is silky, the carbonation moderate. Flavoursome, complex, quite intense for the style, and delicious.
