Another can from Beer Cartel and #ratebeersupertasters. Slightly hazy pale gold. Bready, grassy nose. Nicely balanced west coast hop forward flavours but with the added spice from the rye. A pleasure.

On tap at Beer DeLuxe, Melbourne. Hazy orange with a white head. Aroma and taste of hops, citrus, pineapple and some malt. The finish was quite bitter.

From a 375ml can on 16/2/2020 (shared with Butz). Pours a slightly cloudy golden with a small head. Has a light fruity aroma, but not altogether typical of a hazy. The taste is line and length APA with a touch of additional fruit, but not not masses. Has a light to medium bitterness, medium body and moderate carbonation. Quite approachable and more than drinkable, but a bit a bit lacking when compared withnthe better Aussie hazies out there.

Can. Moderately hazy amber with a white head. Quite an attractive beer - surely that's cheating in this category. Lots of mango in the aroma with light bread, oranges, grass, some pine. Lots of tropical fruit in particular before a grassy and moderately bitter finish that's marred a bit for me by some chive-y herbs amongst the grass and resin. Pretty good though.

I was worried they were going overboard with a triple NEIPA, but I'm really loving this. Heaps of passionfruit combine with orange peel, lemon, marshmallow and cookie dough. The alcohol makes it a little rough down the throat, but overall this is a ripper.

A dangerously easy drinking beer. The aroma has a lot of orange marmalade plus heaps of pine needles and a little honey. The pine, plus a little grapefruit lingers in the mouth. Not a lot of the tropical fruit you usually associate with a NEIPA, but very nice.

330ml bottle from Slow Beer, Fitzroy, Melbourne. Poured a slightly hazy medium amber colour with little life. The aroma is Aquavit, boozy, toffee caramel. The flavour is strong sweet, with a smooth, rich, oily, caramel, orange citrus, warm, boozy, light floral palate. Medium to full bodied with flat carbonation.

From a 375ml can on 26/12/2019. Pours a clearish medium golden with a small uneven head. Has a modest fruity and grassy nose. the tsate is biscuit malt with some medium sweet orange and mandarin. The hops give a medium bitterness which lingers on the back of the tongue. Medium bodied with average carbonation. A decent enough pale with perhaps a bit more bite than average.

Can for #ratebeersupertasters. Amber. Bit of biscuit on nose. Pretty straight down the line pale, with just enough stone fruit to balance the malts.

Bottle from Marks & Spencer, Halifax. Golden-amber with a haze to it. Has a deeper tasting hoppy-fruitiness, somewhat subdued by its strength, but equally its strength is not a huge factor in its taste.
