2014 and 2015 versions. Dark brown, bit of beige foam. Luscious dark fruits. Some liquorice and fig fruits. Taste is full on, smooth but very very flavourful. It’s not even barrel aged, truly a treat Roast and smooth. Long bitter and dry linger in the finish.

Pours dark amber with large creamy head. Nose shows bready malt, caramel, biscuity notes, toffee and earthy hops. Flavours include bready and nutty malt, some caramel, as well as soft spicy and earthy hops.

Amber with an inch + thick nitro head that lasts all the way. Subdued but pleasant toffee cream aroma with flowers and light spices. There’s a fair bit of bitterness and some spices at the end, but the sweetness is lumpen (probably not helped by the nitro). Not my sort of thing.

2014 and 2015 bottles shared. Thanks Jonno! Huge fudge chocolate nose with lots of dark fruit, cherry, marshmallow cream, roasted cacao nibs and coffee. Super complex nose. Wow it’s like drinking chocolate syrup really. Some toasted coconut and light vanilla cream with more fudge. Decadent for sure. Really nice imperial stout from Oz. Awesome.

330mL can, pours an opaque deep dark amber red with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out lots of chewy caramel malts upfront and resinous hops. Flavour is likewise very chewy and malt-heavy, with lots of bready caramel and light resinous hops. Not the most harmonious, but it's decent.

330mL can, pours a cloudy dark orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out resinous hops, lots of oranges, and earthy notes. Flavour brings out herbal and spicy hops, juicy citrus notes, and earthiness. Fairy dry with a low residual sweetness. Ordinary but decently done IPA.
