0.33 bottle from Zly ?asi bottle shop, Prague. Black with reddish tint, almost no head. Roasty sugary aroma, caramel, wood is present, but not to much. Maybe some cherry barrel. Cherry chocolate taste, some dryness from malts and barrel, heavy, full body, hidden alcohol although you can feel the strength. Syrupy structure. Complex and interesting!

Small yellowish head over hazy peach cooloured beer. Ureum, fresh exotic fruit, pear peels. Bitter-fruity flavour, exotic fruit (bitter passion?). Maybe medium bodied, slick, well-carbonated, dry. Far from bad.

Quite good orangeish head, dense, over well-carbonated orange beer. Citrus, liqueur, other grains, smoked malts and lots of wheat & clove. Smoked, phenolic, sour, citrus, banana. Medium bodied, wheatslickness. I rest my case: wheat + smoke: recipe for disaster.

Medium copper colour under fast going off-white head. Very nice fresh nose, but ending a bit dull-spicy in the finish; lindenblossom. Bitterish - and again spicy. Lindenblossom reappearing. Light to medium bodied, slick, long bitterish-spicy aftertaste. Nice! Quite special for CS.

75cl bottle courtesy of and shared with Tderoeck.

Thanks to tderoeck! 750 ml. bottle sampled. The label has a drawing of The Iron Giant on it for some reason. 2.9.15. Deep dark amber, solid creamy white head. Nose is yeasty, pine resin, white sugar, bitter leaves & some herbal bitterness. Taste is some sweet wort, sugar, herbal bitter, yeasty, leaves, light herbs, touch malty,… Body is yeasty & malty. Okay but a bit odd & too dominated by malt & some yeast.
