From cask @ CASK Pub & Kitchen. This one is clear golden in color and it has a small and islandy just off-white head. Smells of old pungent hops and some quite clear manure actually. That's a bit of a downer I guess. Seriously? Yeah, it really smells like manure, and I'm afraid the flavor also is infused with the stuff. A bit thin and flat on the mouthfeel. Hope it's not supposed to taste or smell like this cause this was not pleasant. Needless to say, I did not like this one. 22.07.2012

Served from a wooden cask at Leeds 2012 Beer Festival, Pudsey, W.Yorks 16.03.12 in company of dad & Barry Pours dark brown with a few shards of reflected old blood red glinting back. Soft in the mouth, the wooden cask seems to have soften the edges of this lovely, some vanilla, maltiness, a little roastiness and a little smokiness being picked up. A touch of hoppiness (citrus) showing towards the end. A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.6
