Keg @ Fox & Goose, Hebden Bridge. Hazy amber-gold with a creamy head. It has light tropical fruit notes coupled with a notable dryness in its taste and aftertaste.

[Cask at the Alehouse, Reading.] A glossy black pour with a thin tan head; aroma of toasted grains, chocolate and gingerbread; dry and smooth in the mouth at first, then sweeter with chocolate syrup and some gingerbread spices; before a chewy, malty finish. A satisfying winter beer.

Handpull cask at the Salt Cellar, Saltaire. Copper coloured and clear with an off-white head. Enticing caramel and hazelnut aroma. Sweet taste with lots of caramel and a lightly bitter finish. Smooth body with almost no carbonation. Really simple copper bitter, but honestly I tend to like these.

Cask at the Sheffield Tap. Poured a clear medium amber colour with an everlasting frothy white head. The aroma is malt, light woody hops. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a smooth, rich, grainy biscuit malt, funky yeast, light floral, woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Keg at the Riverside Beer Festival - BBNo Morden Wharf. Pours subtly hazed orange-gold with a creamy, white head. Lightly sweet with leafy and citrusy hops, mellow bitterness, sun-kissed pale malts. Light bodied with average carbonation. Balanced finish, some pale bread, ripening oranges. Nice overall.

Keg at BBNo Riverside Beer Fest. Caramel and grains aroma. Murky light amber. Frothy creamy white head. Biscuity. Light bitter. Insipid. Medium bodied. Creamy. Average carbonation. Dry. Light astringent. Hmm. Failed experiment.

Cask @ Fox & Goose, Hebden Bridge. Dark golden with a thick frothy head and a mild stewed fruitiness. Its soft water belies its strength, which is a little more evident as the brew slips down the palate.
