On tap (cask) at the Alexander, Derby Tuesday 14th October 2025 in the company of Dad and Pauline. Pours dark brown with an off white light beige head. Solid London porter, well balanced, nice roasty edge. Good.

York Beer Festival today, and this is my starter before ten!. Easy texture with gently-sweet pineapple evident in both aroma and taste. Golden-yellow appearance with a small citrus zest in aftertaste.

Isle Of Wight Holiday Beer#31. Black with a head. Fudge is strongest in taste and aftertaste. Aroma somewhat neutral, although dark-malty as a base. Good strength, but relatively easy drinking for it. Sweetish and appealing.
