Can split at Tilt, Bingo-Cotts Convention, Thanks to Simon 08/07/23. Reddish amber with a good sized light beige covering that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is caramel, biscuit malts, grass, mellow fruit esters. Taste comprises candied orange peel, dried fruits, straw, grains, brown bread, caramel. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spattered with dusty hop bitterness. Fine for the style.

Handpull cask at the Ale Wagon, Leicester. Brownish gold and clear with a small film of off-white head and slightly scummy lacing. Astringent aroma, grassy and woody notes, some hard citrus peel. Taste is nicely balanced on the bitter side, more woody character, strong lemon iced tea. Tannic and astringent in the finish and aftertaste. Light body with soft carbonation. Reasonable; wouldn't seek it out again but would have it if I came across it.
