Many thanks for this Bitter Ale to Jacek Wigier (wineofdreams@gmail.com) Alez mocno gozkie piwo, niemal jak ESB, miedziana barwa, piana spora malo trwala ale lepiaca sie do wewnetrznej sciany pintowej szklanki Samuela Smitha niczym muchy do lepa Brosa. Jest zdominowane przez chmielny smak, gozki. Zapach malo intensywny, chlebowo-kwiatowy ale bardzo delikatny. Gozki finisz

330ml bottle: BBE Oct 19. Drank at home on 23rd May 19. Really enjoyed this. Clear golden orange body, decent white crown on top. Light caramel and toffee aroma/taste, semi-bittering hops arrive late but balance everything out nicely.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Appearance - deep almost black with a lovely fawn head. Nose - chocolate and herbal. Caramel too. Taste - creamy chocolate and herbs again. Roots and herbs. Palate - creamy and close to medium bodied with a balanced finish and a decent linger. Overall - good if a bit quirky.

330ml bottle, drank at home on 19th May 2019. Poured (twice) into a Gaffel Kölsch glass, the expected golden clear body, bright and clean, white head. I am no expert on Kölsch but I really enjoyed this Welsh version. Refreshing and thirst quenching with a decent depth of hop and maltiness.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Appearance - golden with a nicely proportioned head. Nose - orange and toffee. Biscuits. Taste - caramel biscuits. Light smoke and honey. Palate - creamy and close to medium bodied. Crunchy/smoky finish. Overall - I think this is a good Bitter. But a session IPA it is not.

Cask @ Salopian, the pub. Pours dark ruby, aroma has gently sweet dark malt. Taste bears chocolate with coconut hints, light roast, dark malts. Body seems quite smooth and oily perhaps. Tastes like it's probably at the end of the barrel, so scored objectively.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Appearance - golden with attractive thin lacing. Nose - corn and a light grassy note. Taste - caramel and more corn. Palate - light bodied and creamy. Not as dry as hoped. Overall - Nose good but taste could be fresher.
