First beers seen from the Y Bragdy Mws Piws / Purple Moose Brewery were at Worcester Beer Festival in August 2002. They were brewed at Moor. The brewery first brewed 14th June 2005 following the acquisition of a new site and a 10BBL plant formerly in use at Harviestoun. Expanded again in 2013 to a 40BBL plant.

Clear pale gold with a bubbly white head and a floral aroma, presumably elderflower. Light bodied, fresh and fruity with a dry bittersweet finish.

Clear pale gold with a bubbly white head and a fruity nose. Begins with a kick of grapefruit bitterness, tropical fruit sweetness underneath, finishes dry and bitter.

Old rating from 27-04-16 - 500ml bottle, gift from friends who visited North Wales. Pours a dark chestnut colour with a cream head. Aromas of roasted berries & malt. Tastes of toffee, biscuit, chocolate, spice & roasted berries. Medium body with a nice roasted finish.

Pint of cask out the barrel at the Lytton Arms beer festival. Good pour with plenty of hops and a balanced bitterness. A classic old school pale ale.

Pours pale golden, slightly hazy. Small white head. Aroma: bready malts, dough and citrus. Taste: bread, citrus and light mango. Bit sweet palate.

Old rating from 01-08-15 - 500ml bottle, a birthday gift from a fellow beer lover, pours a clear golden colour with a white head. Aromas of Elderflower & hops. Tastes of Elderflower, citrus fruit with a slight bitterness in the finish. Feels of medium carbonation. Overall a nice summery drink.
