First beers seen from the Y Bragdy Mws Piws / Purple Moose Brewery were at Worcester Beer Festival in August 2002. They were brewed at Moor. The brewery first brewed 14th June 2005 following the acquisition of a new site and a 10BBL plant formerly in use at Harviestoun. Expanded again in 2013 to a 40BBL plant.

Cask at GBBF 06. Deep mahogany, thin beige head. Choc malt aroma with a bit of ginger? Nice choc. Some sourness. Good though and I was impressed.

[Cask at GBBF] Dark brown. Coffee aroma. Sweetish and fairly light bodied. There’s roasty malt and fruit as well as some grass. Very dry finish with good bitterness.
