ABV: 13.0%. Clear dark black colour with a small, virtually none lacing, fully diminishing head. Aroma is heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, maple, bourbon. Flavor is light heavy sweet with a long duration, roasted, chocolate, bourbon - barrel, maple, sour fruit - dried fruit. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat, finish feelis warming and light alcoholic. [20220512]

Aroma is moderate malty, wheat, moderate to heavy hoppy, peach, tropical fruit. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a long duration, wheat, tropical fruit, peach, melon, dank. ABV: 8.5%. Murky matt medium orange yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, wheat, oat, bread - cereal, moderate to heavy hoppy, fruity hops, tropical fruit, passion fruit - citrus, papaya - mango. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, wheat - oat, biscuit malt, fruity hops, tropical fruit, passion fruit - citrus, papaya - mango. 750ml bottle I bought at the brewery, pours a viscous black with a little bit of brick red head. Nose has dried cherries, malt, molasses, plenty of booze. Flavor is really just chocolate syrup and booze, a little raisin, there is some dark cherry or even cranberry which makes me think infection. Finishes thin, oily, astringent. Not good.

Can, 0.473l. Aroma of mango, pineapple, citrus and caramel. Pours hazy dark golden color with thick soapy off-white head and sparkling appearance. Taste starts juicy tropical fruity and grainy, following is stone fruity and caramelly, mouthfeel is smooth and mild spicy, while finish is average bitter. Medium body, oily texture and average carbonation in palate. Nice, bot not hopped my pants with this one…

750ml bottle I picked up at the brewery, pours a dark brown/black, a bit thin, fast fading beige head. Nose is mostly booze, molasses, caramel, some smoke, malt. Flavor lacks any semblance of nuts, it's really just big malt and big boozy barrel. Not sure if this was different barrels, but it reads different, almost scotch-y. Finishes boozy but thin too. Reminds me of a De Molen kinda thing.
