Tap at Troubles End. Big and beastly. The malts more than hold up, then the extra fudgy caramel bourbon barrel tone throws it over the top. Could have been better with a year, but fun to try after only a few weeks in the barrel as well. Heavy.

Hand pump at Troubles End. Massive, steady beige head. Brown black body, very attractive pour in the tankard glass. Just nails it. Rich chocolate tone, but dry and bitter, which lingers in the aftertaste. Really excellent stuff. Serious malt tone, but not sweet. Great.

Tap at TE. I get some buttery vegetal tone from the hops, kind of an off tone. Sort of awkward beer, has a bittering balance that helps it out, but neither the malt or hop tone is that enjoyable. The hops need CO2 cleaning or something.

Dulled grape purple red body, thick creamy off-white head. Not unlike some of the BFM sours, very nice balance, malty undercurrents. A little bit of an unpleasant wine aroma. Really solid offering. A lot of flavor without resorting to fruit or flavoring. A pretty nice sour saison. Bret and more I'm sure oddness lingers in the aftertaste.

One of the most hearty Imperial Stouts I have had in awhile. Rich, malty. Chunky brownie sweetness. Pretty drinkable for the ABV. A little bit sugary. Good.

Growler from the brewery. Tart, bright. Very drinkable, sort of light on the malt side. Their other offering, Photosphere, had a deeper malt tone which added some nice balance. This sort of leans into the sour side, never biting, but lemony and tart, not unlike a kettle sour. Bright lemon lime tones. Good.

Growler from the brewery. Big beige head on top of a black body. A little deeper roasty chocolate tone than typical. Oily black malts, some unique depth. The wheat fleshes it out I suppose. OK.

Tap at Troubles End. Big, bready, creamy. Not sure if the Lukr pour is really a good thing here, perhaps some carbonation would add balance. Real classic noble hop tone is steady, but mellow. Very true to style, unique, enjoyable.

Tap at Troubles End. Probably my least favorite beer I've had from them. Buttery, vegetal, toffee tone. Quite a mess of an IPA or beer of any sort. Lemony buttery finish. Really bad.

Growler from TE. Whereas I was expecting something piney, resinous, this is really light on the palate, clean and excellent. Hops are more functional than showcasish, Really great balance. This is more of a neo-American Wheat Ale with the Spelt tone coming through nicely. Cool beer.
