Apparently the local malt and hops aren't ideal for Pils. Deep and sweet, more Pale Lager than Pils. Michigan Saaz suck, get with it. My least favorite of the night.

On the hand pump at the brewery. Massive steady off white head. Soft, creamy. Real cask experience. Toffee, caramel, and a notable hop balance. Awesome for a stateside bitter.

Tap at the brewery. Really nice dry chocolate and roast malt tones. Easy and mellow, but lots of dark malt depth. Unique, tasty.

Really could have been a grisette with the mellow ABV. Smoked malt and saison yeast work surprisingly well together. Easy drinking with some nice depth. Smoke is mild. Good.
