Cask (handpump) @ The New Oxford, 11 Bexley Sq, Salford, Manchester, England M3 6DB.Clear medium orange yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, straw, toasted, pale malt, fruity. Flavor is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a average to long duration, fruity, pale malt. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20130125]

Cask at Derby Tup, Chesterfield - Russet body, creamy white head, lacing all the way through. Rich spicy nose, caramel, malt, nutmeg and a bit of cinnamon. Warming feel of the spices is eased by a velvety smooth mouthfeel, sweet caramel finish. I liked this.

Cask at the Raglan Arms, Rugby, 16/12/13. Clear golden with a moderate off white head, lacing ensues. Nose is toasted malt, light plastic, orange, straw. Taste comprises citric straw, mandarin, orange peel. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, dry grassy bitterness in the finish. So so GB affair.

Cask @ Pump Room, Halifax. Light golden with a head and a slightly hoppy character but with a bitterness. Some fruits evident but not many. Texture is a little thin which doesn’t help its flavours.

Cask (handpump) @ Olde Starre Inne, 40 Stonegate, York, North Yorkshire, England YO1 8AS.Clear medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, light keller - earthy. Flavor is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a long duration, earthy malt, fruity notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20130122]
