Description
Proudly Brewed in Yorkshire since 1999
The award-winning Salamander beers was founded in 1999. Dr Daniel Gent (a doctor of brewing and one of Salamander's founders) mission was to bring high quality independently brewed beer to the masses. To this day Salamander continues to surprise and delight its many customers.
And we haven’t lost our touch for beer either.
Brewing ceased in early 2019 and restarted in late Summer 2021.

[Cask at Volunteers Arms, GBBF 2004] A hazy orange beer with a small white head. The aroma is sweet hoppy, while the flavor is lovely fruity and very hoppy and grassy, giving it a dry end. But the body is thin.

Dark beer that is light for a dark beer. The aroma is very light and the flavour is very lightly bitter. Overall quite a plain beer.

(Cask)Ochre-amber, clear; 2cm white foam, stable. Hoppy nose, British style, a bit dusty, vaguely caramel malt. Bitter; nice balance but the hops were not very noble. Light bodied but not thinnish. Nice, worth developping (that's more to the brewer than to the punter...).
