Draft at the brewery in Juneau, Alaska. Pitch black color with a small beige head. Nice dark malt aroma. Good lacing. Nice, clean and sweet dark malt flavor, but it does have a strange finish. Light body. Low carbonation. Low bitterness. Easily chuggable. Good flavor overall with a disappointing finish.

Draft at the brewery in Juneau, Alaska. Crystal clear gold color with a white head. Light pilsner malt aroma. Clean and crisp, but not sharp. Tastes like a blend of Bohemian and German styles. Not sweet or bitter. Fairly basic beer. Medium light body. Medium carbonation. Low bitterness. Decent.

On tap at Tent City Taphouse, pours an opaque muddled orange with a small white head. Aroma is muffled, with earthy hops, a touch of citrus, and bitter stone fruit pith. Flavour is muddled, confused and harsh, with chaotic stone fruit pith, floral candied hops, and alcohol. Doesn't have the usual problems of most hazies but it's incompetent in many others ways: lacking integration, chaotic, harsh and sweet. Needs work.

375mL bottle, pours a hazy blonde with a quickly-dissipating white head. Aroma is wonderfully fragrant, with lots of rustic farmhouse notes, gentle funk, lots of oak, and hay -- damn that's nice. Flavour is dry and rustic, with plenty of farmhouse funk, intense dry oak, and gentle bugs. Really great yeast expression here. Complex, very dry, and very drinkable. Excellent.

Pale, barely any haze, thin head. Nice pale malt character, with a bretty accent, touch of berryish fruit, big continental hops, touch of tartness. Complex, delicious, excellent saison. Yum.

750mL bottle, pours a cloudy dull golden with a large, giant white head. Aroma brings out lots of rustic saison yeast, gentle wild yeast, and cereal graininess. Flavour is along the same lines, with rustic saison yeast, very light wild yeast, straw, and cereal grains. Rustic and dry. Authentic and beautifully done. Excellent.

Tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy dark orange with a white head. Aroma seems a mix of orange, stone fruit and mild spice. Medium body; dryish; yeast spice. Not at all barnyard. Belgian; tasty; refreshing.

Nose is cloves, Belgiany yeast, and candi sugar. Hazy yellow gold with a medium, lightly lacing, off white head. Flavor is lightly sweet candi sugar, spicces, and a hint of bitter. Pretty good stuff. Wish they would put some in bourbon barrels.
