Can shard at Ganz, courtesy of Zozo. Pours black with a lacing brown head. Nose is dark chocolate, coffee, light dried fruits, earthy notes and some vanilla. Taste is moderately sweet malty, a tad boozy with a hint of vanilla and chocolate and moderately bitter notes of dark chocolate and coffee. Closes with a chocolate and vanilla finish, has a thin body and average carbonation. With a bigger body it could've been even better.

500ml can. Clear golden, white head. Aroma of piney resin, citrus peel. Taste is very resinous, piney, citrus peel, caramel, marmalade, lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied. Very nice, drinks more like a pale ale than an IPA, which isn't a bad thing but one might expect a little more punchiness from it.

On tap at That Beer Place, Chester. Pours almost black with minimal tan head, good lacing and medium carbonation. The aroma has malts and liquorice with hints of honey as well. In the mouth it is sweet and fruity with raspberries, malts and hints of hops. Figs and liquorice come through later as well. Fruitiness lasts into the finish. This is decent – though I would never have guessed it was meant to be a lager !

330ml can. Mostly clear golden, white head. Aroma of citrus, lemon, mandarin, pale malts. Taste leads with sweet citrus, lemon, mandarin, pale malts, the "gentle bitterness" never really comes so although nice I think it'd be too sweet to session the stuff. Decent body for AF.
