Cask @ Warrington Oktoberfest. Bright gold appearance. Slightly dry and vinious aroma. On the whole a fairly bland flavour that leave a dry taste in the mouth and an acidic tartness that catches the back of the throat.

Cask@Quorn Octoberfest, 2007. Brown beer with a toffee and caramel aroma, and a quite thick caramel/toffee flavour. Overall an average toffee hopped beer.

Cask handpull at Market Porter, Borough Market. Chestnut colour. Perfumed bitter. Again not in great condition, watery in outh, poor. Some dark malts.

Cask@Melton Mowbray Beer Festival 2007. Golden beer with a light head. The aroma is toffee and the flavour is fruity, toffee, bitter and spiced. Overall a nice dry, fruity and toffee beer.

Cask (handpump) @ GBBF 2007, London. Medium yellow color with virtually none head. Aroma is moderate malty, apple, honey, light alcohol. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration and a dry finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat.

[Cask at GBBF 2005] A hazy orange beer with a thin white head. Both the aroma and flavors are sweet malty with notes of alcohol and metal - the metal probably stemming from the alcohol. Too simple.

Loved this, very light in colour, hoppy and spicy and wonderfully moreish. Ok so it was a little heavy on the sweet side but I donโt think this detracted from what is a very addictive beer.
