Draught at source: pours copper with whitish head. Aroma is caramel, some spiciness. Taste is sweet, lightly bitter. Not bad.

Jellied, golden boy, not much head. Pepper, malt, simple syrup nose. Bit meh. Bittersweet, candi-sugar(?), white pepper, stronger than I want acidity seems like the house flavor. Lingering numb bitterness is nice. Slicks finish that is more greasy than sugary. Noticable body, stiff enough, a bit jellied. Okay.

Half liter on tap @Guilford. Very dark brown, not black, slim tan head. Toasty, softly sweet char nose. Taste is acidic, nice bittersweet char is super subtle. Mellow subliminal cream. Very low carb. Drank it too quickly.

Half liter @the source. Clear, boring gold, soft head. Yeasty, grainy, generic nose. Taste is bittersweet. Rounded upfront, slightly buttery, significant acid, ground pepper, very light floral & citrus. Finish is very much like white bread. Overcarbed possibly. Super low profile abc. A little oily before the parching finish. Okay.

Half liter at the source. Black on deep brown color. Milk chocolate-colored froth. Sharp, warm, dark, toasty nose. Taste is sharp, great acidity, very lite & almost sweet char, some nuttiness, subtle fruit on the lingering finish. Hard carbonation. But oil. Easy sloshing. Excellent.

Tap at GBH. Bready, earthy, nice hop tone. Pretty solid Czech Pils for the most part up front. Almost gets too soapy after a few sips. Earthy bitterness. A lot of character, but a little imperfect.

3.5% dark lager. Has an oily burnt offness in the aroma. Same thing with the flavor. Not that good. Could be cool but isn't.

Tap at GBH. Soapy, lemony hop tone. Has an English feel to it, deep flowery hop depth. Not my favorite example of the style, but this grew on me.

Nitro pour at the brewery. Extra soft on the palate. Thick, roasty malt notes. Doesn't quite nail it, the malts are too thick and lend some off flavors. Surprisingly unimpressive.
