Inspired by a love of delicious drinks to accompany great company and great stories, Ascapart is named after the giant from Southampton's most famous legend - Sir Bevois of Hampton. At 30 feet in height, Ascapart reflects our giant dedication to creating the most delicious beer in small-batches with love and attention. Born from the Mettricks indie cafe-bar group in 2024, we're based at their Portswood site, which is also where the Ascapart Coffee roastery is, serving the freshest beer and coffee to the people of our great city.

24/1/2026. Can at ITFC Beer share. 4.8% abv. From Beer Central, Sheffield. Nice colour. Aroma is camp coffee, ashy, fruit cake. Fairly sweet, a little clammy with a slight tart edge. Starts nicely but does fade.

Panda at home, thanks to Graham Grumbo, 10/11/2025.
Moderately hazed golden orange topped with an off white cap that retains as a swirl.
Nose is orange peel, grass, melon, mandarin.
Taste comprises bitter orange, grapefruit, melon, mandarin, mixed tropicana.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close splashed with juicy hop bitterness.
Decent enough IPA.
