Sample at the brewpub. The beer is a murky purplish-red color with a medium thin pinkish-white head that burns away steadily to an outer ring. Short strings of lace. Aroma of strawberry, malt and citrus. Medium body with flavors of sweet-tart strawberry, biscuit malt, lemon and vanilla. The finish is fruity with a strawberry shortcake aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Aroma of raspberry, wheat, strawberry and malt. Light-bodied with a sweet-tart blend of berries and guava, along with some floral wheat and doughy malt. The finish is tart with a raspberry aftertaste. Above average overall.

Sample at the brewpub. Black pour with some mahogany around the edges, and a medium tan head that diminishes slowly to a dense film. Small patches of lace. Roast malt, pistachio, caramel and chocolate in the nose. Full-bodied with flavors of caramel malt, roasted pistachio, vanilla and chocolate. The finish is sweet with a malty and nutty aftertaste. Good beer all around.

Solid IPA all around.
