Sample at the brewpub. Brown-black pour with a medium tan head that diminishes steadily to a film. Small patches of lace. Aroma of malt, chocolate, coffee and marshmallow. Full-bodied with flavors of chocolate malt, roast coffee, marshmallow and a bit of tobacco. The finish is sweet with a roasty malt and marshmallow aftertaste. Good beer all around.

Sample at the brewpub. The beer pours a slightly hazed maize color with a medium frothy white head that diminishes gradually to a film. Sticky patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of herbal hops, tropical fruit and malt. Medium body with flavors of citrusy hops, tropical fruit and earthy malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a citrusy hop aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Sample at the brewpub. The beer is a clear pale golden color with a thin white head that evaporates quickly to an outer ring. Sparse strings of lace. Malty aroma with fruit and yeast notes. Light-bodied with flavors of fruit, floral honey, malt and yeast. The finish is crisp with a fruit and malt aftertaste. Decent overall.

Pint can. Pours a slightly hazy yellow color with a smaller sized white head that soon fizzes away. The aroma is quite strong, I can smell this from a across the desk. In the aroma I get grapefruit, mango and persimmon. The taste features grapefruit and mangoes with a touch of pine on the back end. The palate is on the lighter side with soft carbonation. Finishes short and dry. Overall: Decent IPA but I'm not so sure that id recognize this as a 'West coast IPA' if that wasn't printed on the can.

Full-bodied with flavors of charred malt, cocoa, toasted marshmallow and a bit of coffee. The finish is sweet and roasty with a chocolate and marshmallow aftertaste. Good beer all around.

Aroma of herbal hops, citrus and malt. Medium body with flavors of resiny hops, grapefruit and toast malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a citrus and herbal hop aftertaste. Pretty good IIPA overall.

Light to medium body with flavors of sweet-tart strawberry, vanilla and roast malt. The finish is mildly tart with a strawberry shortcake aftertaste. Above average overall.

Solid IPA all around.

Light-bodied with flavors of floral hop, lemon and roast malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a lemony hop aftertaste. Above average overall.
