16oz can. Pretty solid West Coastish IPA/IIPA. Full bodied and big at 8%, but remains pretty drinkable, not in the Imperial range at all. Clean, juicy, with some nice balancing bitterness as well. Lemony apricot. OK.

16oz can. What an odd, lame beer for Gathering Place to drop. Weak pineapple puree in the aroma, some off tones as well. Thin, medium to light bodied. Nto a lot going on. Half ass fruit beer I guess. I suppose it isn't syrupy, which is a bonus. Overall kind of a weak offering.

Sample at McFleshman's Lagerfest, 10/7/23. Can. Clear pale gold, medium white head, average retention. Aroma of bready malt, pineapple. Taste is pineapple, raisin, pale malt. Crisp, simple.

Pint can from the Tosa Taproom, 9/29/23. Dark brown, looks mostly clear. Large tan head, good retention. Aroma of roast, coffee, nuts, caramel. Taste is roast, cherry, coffee, bitter hops. Bit of molasses. Lingering bitterness, well balanced. Nice.

16oz can. Certainly in the backlog as well. Hard to know the age, as they don't put it on the can. Not really a great example of the style in the condition it is in. Plasticy edges, sweet, more ale-like than you would want in the style. All around sort of a mess.

16oz can. On the can it says Style: Dunkel, so I would be comfortable categorizing this as a Dunkel, not a specialty grain. Deep malt depth, faint hop balance. Rye is well incorporated and doesn't come off too chewy or overbearing. Nice beer, 100% in my backlog somewhere.

Pint can from Total Wine Brookfield, 9/1/23. Hazy yellow, large white head, average retention. Aroma of bready malt, floral hops, bit of mint. Taste is bready malt, mint, apple, floral hop. Crisp, well balanced. Solid.

16oz can. Really nice stuff. Lots of malt depth, deep chocolate, rye, caramel...in no way an overly sweet pastry though. Creamy, sweet, excellent stuff. Right on.

Sample at the Wisconsin IPA Fest @ Third Space, 8/5/23. Clear copper medium white head, good retention. Aroma of tropical fruit, white grape, pale malt. Taste is pale malt. tropical fruit. Clean, crisp, moderate bitterness. Another favorite. Gathering Place keeps really insisting on being amazing. McFleshman's will always be #1 (BFFs Forever!!!) but this is probably my 2nd favorite WI brewery by now.

Sample at the Wisconsin IPA Fest @ Third Space, 8/5/23. One of my favorites of the festival. Probably #1. Clear gold, thin white head, good retention. Aroma of floral hop, grapefruit, resin. Taste is resin, grapefruit, dank, pine, hint of tropical fruit. Strong bitterness.
