Can, from the Elmhurst taproom. Pours clear golden with a small foamy off-white head, faint piney malt aroma, adequate carbonation, medium bitter lightly piney taste, faint citrus flavor, thin smooth body, long finish. Unimpressive.

16 oz can from the source. So this is to pineapple sours in a row. Well that's what happened sometimes. This one pours a little clearer, still golden, under a fizzy and short-lived head. Smell has cleaner pineapple notes to it, not a lot of malt or hops. The taste is straightforward tart and pineapple juice. Mostly the tartness of the sour beer malt is what comes through.

16 oz. can from 93 Octane, packaged Aug. 27, 2024. So the Buffalo Trace in the barrel for this year 20W-50. I only confirmed this with the tap room server, and the fact that it was labeled as such in the store display. Pours a black body with a brief, fizzy brown head. Smell is the familiar lovely nose of bourbon and vanilla. A little chocolate follows, but no bitter roast. Taste is just dandy, a fizzy bourbon, some black cherry, with a thick mouthfeel on my tongue. Still, it's very easy drinking, with little roastiness in the way. Can't catch anything here that makes me think of oak barrel, just the bourbon well matched to a stout beer.

Just a small taster, because it's on the tap board not not the draft list. Hazy yellow, some bubbly foam around the edge. Smell has light clove, a bit of citrus and bubblegum, and the usual bit of yeast. Taste again is lots of the promised Saison taste, showing in on a slight luminance with the spice.

Taster at the tap room. Last sample of my flight still show a slight ring of foam around a brown to black porter body. Smell had a lot of roast property to it, enhanced by a nice coffee roast. Taste brings forward a solid kick off bitter coffee, work no extra sweetness. Yeah, I can like this! Porter makes on the back ground are roasted, but not bitter themselves.

Taster at the tap room. Russet brown, still work a ring of foam after half an hour. Malty nose work caramel twist, maybe a bit of smoke. Taste is bigly malted and a little sticky on the tongue. Not smoky, actually, but the malt does have done pretty in its finish. I just don't get a chance at a lot of alts, but this is, I think, a very good one. Kind of an odd strawberry note at the finish.

Taster at the tap room. Clear amber, work a thin ring of foam. Nice standard hoppy nose. The taste has some more fresh and rainy hop to it. The alcohol does hide here, and probably won't creep up on this small glass. Again, sticks straight ahead to the style.
