Malmö February Tasting@Palace Hall (25/02/2023) - dark roasted malty with lots of chocolate, some caramel and toffee sticky sweetness, full bodied, slick mouthfeel, dark lingering malty close. Very nice.

Dorada con espuma cremosa de color blanco, duración media. Aroma con notas tropicales y herbales. Sabor con amargor moderado, muy frutal, principalmente piña y algo cítrica. Final ligero, frutal y ligeramente dulce.

Draught, half pint. @SinDueña, Compostela. 03/02/2023 [#5.777 Global - #1.249 Spain - #27 Laugar Brewery] Pous golden, light hazed, with a lacing white head. Aroma: peach, mild citrus and straw. Taste: pale malts, light citrus. New place in town, best of luck. Next one please!

(Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm, 15 Sep 2022) Black colour with creamy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with chocolate, sweet espresso, sweet liquorice and soy sauce. Malty, roasted taste with notes of sweet espresso, dark chocolate, cacao, liquorice, black bread and a balanced roasty bitterness. Full body, quite sweet. Sweet and powerful, but really rich and tasty. Well made imperial stout. Great beer.

ABV: 13.5%. Clear dark dark red brown colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, barrel, peat, alcohol - whisky (ardberg). Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, roasted, dark malt, barrel, dark fruit, peat, whisky, rich - heavy. Body is medium to full, texture is oily - creamy, carbonation is flat, finish feel is warming and light alcoholic. [20230121]
