I drank this beer in Madrid. It is a good one, it is not really an amber but it seems to be more an IPA, citrus, side of grapefruit, sweet, 19.10.16, at the Axor Feria Madrid.

Tap at Valhalla Prague. Pitch black body, tan head. Some darker milk chocolate in the aroma, vaguely leaning on some trace DMS. Lean but sweetish tonka-driven taste, some coffee, bitterish finish, light alcohol. Nice smooth backbone. Fine, not great!

Cremiger, alkoholisch malziger Beginn. Leichte Süße, Kakao, etwas Vanille. Würzig, Schokolade, weiterhin alkoholisch, die eh geringe Süße verschwindet weitestgehend. Angenehm, wenn auch in Teilen ruppig. 8/10/7/8/9/8

Il gusto al naso resta attratto dal fruttato. L'intensità olfattiva è elevata e la maniera in cui permane è sufficiente. Il mantello birroso superiore è inesistente. Il colore è come l'inchiostro nero. Il corpo è strutturato ma duttile. L'amaro è pronunciato. La forza gustativa è molto elevata e si prolunga in modo diffuso. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di birra beverina e di pericolosa beverinità. Il retrogusto è di decente intensità. In bocca l'aroma è quello di miele, crosta di panettone, cioccolato, liquirizia, agrumi, mandarino, erbe aromatiche, frutta disidratata e uvetta bagnata nel rum.

Il gusto al naso viene attratto da ciliegia, liquirizia e caffè. La finezza olfattiva è normale e il modo in cui permane è sufficiente. Il manto birroso superiore è caratterizzato da una schiuma destinata a vita breve. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana media. Il colore è nero come la pece. Il corpo è strutturato non pesante. L'amaro è nella media. La forza gustativa è molto elevata. La continuità gustativa è lunga e persistente. Le sensazioni boccali finali inducono a bevuta compulsiva. Il retrogusto è intenso. L'aroma in bocca porta i segni di miele, caffè, liquirizia, amaretto, nocciola, frutta secca, agrumi, spezie, erbe aromatiche, frutta passita, cuoio, rabarbaro, vino Porto, zolfo, zenzero, uva passa e vaniglia.

Can from Drankenhandel Leiden. Resinous hop with malt, pine resin, grapefruit, sugary orange. Medium bitter with a light to mild sweetness. Ripe and resinous, grapefruit, bitter. Body is medium. Very good.

Draught No head whatsoever; black beer. Sweet roast, sauced tobacco. Lightly roasted (Brasil?) nuts. Overdone omelet. Sweet, vanilla, roast, nuts - if sweet ones, this time. Again the tobacco-vanilla and tonka beans. Waffle syrup, dark dried fruit. Utterly viscous-oozy. Sticky, full bodied, mild carbonation. Really sweet, but good.

Can from Drankenhandel Leiden. Fruity hop, citrus, stone fruit, orange, ripe fruit, light marmalade. Moderate bitter with a light sweetness. Medium body. Bit ripe, bittersweetish, decent.

Sweet, a little thin, a bit smokey.
