Description
The Jolly Boys' Brewery is based in Barnsley, South Yorkshire, UK. We are four friends who brew beautiful ales with integrity and grace.
A story of warmth, banter, integrity and grace. The Jolly Boys Brewery was established in the snug of a Scarborough pub in 2014. It was more than a distraction, reverie or unobtainable dream.
The four friends realised that this was something they wanted to puruse. They savoured this thinking time and punctuated it with laughter, jocularity, brotherhood and slience – that comfortable silence where you shake your head and smile. And they never want it to end.
The Jolly Boys’ have spent their working lives contributing via their day jobs to the support of others in society. This moral drive is important to them. Couple this with a love of beer, respect for the community and pride doing a good job, the boys made a life-changing decision: they were going to brew beer.
What more honorable and worthwhile calling could there be?

Cask @ Fox & Goose, Hebden Bridge. Hazy yellow with a creamy-frothy head. It’s citric hoppy, which gets a tad more pronounced in its nose.

1st Sep 2019, hand-pulled half-pint in the Lion & Key, Hull. Almost ruby red in colour, creamy off-white foam on top. Malty lead to the aroma and taste with some hop action for balance and bitterness, some hedgerow fruity notes in there too.

Keg @ Jolly Tap, Wakefield. Golden-ambrer with a small bubbly head. There's fruit in its nose, is hoppy, with a fair bitterness with a slight dryness. Not too dissimilar to the cask version despite it being confirmed by the Jolly Tap worker it is an extra dry hopped version.
