Bottle from the brewery @ 5.3% ABV. Copper coloured, with a frothy, off-white, head. A amlty beer, with some berry fruits, chewy grains and lingering, bitter finish, with a suggestion of smoke. Very Englsih and pleasant to drink.

Cask at EBF Autumn 22. Aroma combines a real fruitiness with underlying malts and grains. Opaque amber brown. Thin frothy white head. Sweet and fruity, very sugary. Sour berry edge which is more evident into the finish. Tangayyyyy. Medium bodied. Slick. Average carbonation. Long somewhat astringent finish. This bitter really hits the spot.

[Cask at the Hampshire Octoberfest, Basingstoke] A copper pour with a thin white head; sweet caramel aroma; malty body, but rather sweet; and a light English hop bitterness. A nice traditional bitter, but too sweet for my tastes.

Cask at Egham Beer Fest. Aroma is very sweet thanks to the Christmas spice. Opaque chestnut. Frothy off-white head. Full of spice. Which to be fair is not my thing. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long finish. Attempting to be neutral here.... it's nice enough... if someone enjoyed the spices then they may well prefer it.

Cask at Egham Beer Fest. Aroma is fruity but either an off sour edge. Slightly opaque amber. Foamy white head. Sweet with a sour citrus edge and underlying bitterness. Sugary. Jammy. The tart sourness then really amps up into the finish. Medium bodied. Slick. Flat carbonation. Long dry finish. Pleasent stuff.
