Cask at St Judes Tavern, Ipswich. Aroma is low key and malty. Dark chestnut. A few mm of off-white head around the rim. Grainy. Citrus edge. Gains quinine Light-medium bodied. Slick. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. Not great... but is it this pub's cask storage?

Cask at EBF Summer 2022. Aroma is sweet and frut syrupy. Clear light gold. Foamy white head. Medium bitter. Quinine. With citrusy and syrupy sweetness. Light. Thin but slick. Average carbonation. Long dry finish. Decent Gold.

17/6/2022. Cask at the 30th East Anglian Beer & Cider Festival, Bury St Edmunds. Pours clear dark amber bronze with a small bubbly white head. Aroma of malt, caramel, fruit, light spice, hint of starch. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness and body. Slightly oily, soft carbonation.

Cask: Poured dark orange amber with a tan head. Aroma is fruity, malts, caramel. Taste is fruity, malty, caramel. It’s okay.

Sample thanks to Grumbo: Poured a burnt orange with a bubbly beige head. Aroma is light malts. Taste is toffee, malty, caramel, bitter balance in this.

26/8/2021. Cask at the 2021 East Anglian Beer Festival, Bury St Edmunds. Pours clear dark amber bronze with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma of toffee, malt, fruit, biscuit, touch of veg. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily watery texture, average carbonation. Pretty decent sessionable ale.
