Clear yellow orange with at full lasting off white head. Modest sweet pine aroma and flavors. Some pithy citrus as well. Light toasted malts, smooth soft palate. A middle of the road IPA but nice flavors./

Hazy golden coloured body with a bit of an orange glow and a relatively thick, tan head, about three centimetres tall. Aroma of resinous, piney and very tropical fruity hops with a little malt in the nose as well. Medium-bodied; Assertive tropical fruit hops dominate with a great bitterness and even better flavour - balanced very well by the malt, make this a nice and enjoyable beer throughout. Aftertaste is still very bittered by all the hops, but left sweet due to the tropical fruitiness and the light banana and sweet yeast finish. Overall, a very enjoyable beer that has a lot of complexity, but a great hop character that make this far better than I was expecting from the funky bottle shape. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased in a mixed six-pack from Shopper’s Food Warehouse in Alexandria, Virginia on 21-June-2017 for US$1,25, with a date produced on the bottle of 04 May 2017, sampled at home on the Eastern Shore of Virginia at Pungoteague, Virginia on 30-June-2017, my birthday.

Draft 10 oz pour at Red Hook, Woodinville. Jet black pour with a tan cola fizz head. Toasty malt forward aroma. Flavor is a good amount of roasted character up front. Almost fights to be smokey. Toast throughout, with a soft bitterness. A bit of a vanilla cream and milk chocolate background as well. A nice, lighter porter here, that doesn’t lack in flavor in any way. Pretty good beer here.

Draft pour pint at Red Hook, Woodinville. Making a few stupid here lately while I still have the chance. I’m going to miss being able to travel two minutes from work to try some Crandall handles. A dark copper pour with plenty of foam head and lacing. A sweet malt constant here on aroma and flavor. The hops are really bitter and balances it out. A little fruit to pair with the malt on the nose. Cool finish. A ton of flavor going on. Far from a boring IPA, that’s for sure. Overall this was pleasant. The sweet seems to barely outlast the bitterness, which remains my only real complaint about this IPA.

From old tasting notes. Cloudy, yellowish gold color. Big bubbly white head. Huge citrusy wheat malt aroma. Crisp, spicy wheat malt flavor has a peppery character that lays on the palate.

Orange with a white head. Medium bodied. Sweet somewhat tropical citrus with a bit of malt and sweet orange, too. Resin and light bitter finish. Solid DIPA and well balanced. Really enjoyed this one.

Deep brown, moderate off- white head. Aroma: roasted malts, caramel, dry fruit, citrus hops. Similar taste. Quite dry. A bit watery. Pretty drinkable.
