Slightly hazy golden and peach coloured body with a thinnish white head that fades a bit slowly. Aroma of grassy hops with a dash of citrus and grain and a touch of herbs and light malt. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong grassy and herbal flavours at first with a light dose of metal and astringent malts, but a smooth and relatively high alpha acid hop kick towards the end that is grassy, but also very perfumey. Aftertaste shows the softer malts with some yeast and wheat and a touch of alcohol near the end, but the bitterness from hops and grass is evident, especially at the end. Overall, a nice and refreshing APA that shows some good hop kicks, perhaps more than the IPA, but also a smooth and balanced malt profile that shows a good character, as well. I sampled this [heavy] 33 cL bottle purchased from Circle K in Saigon (40 Huynh Thuc Khang) on 08-August-2019 for 65,000VND sampled a day later on my tenth wedding anniversary with my three kids and wife, here in Saigon, Vietnam on 09-August-2019.

Crisp, slightly hazy golden coloured body with a soapy, light tan head that stays afloat quite nicely. Aroma of strong wheat, yeast, bread, curacao and tons of bananas - very strong in the nose and showing a lot of yeast. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong wheatie and yeastie flavours show at first with a more pungent clove and banana bite that also has a slightly grassy and dry hay flavour towards the end. Aftertaste is dry, but showing a lot of character, from yeast to wheat, cloves to bananas and bread to oranges - very nice and flavourful, especially compared to other beers here in Vietnam. Overall, this is very nice for a wheat beer, especially from Vietnam, and a very welcome option considering the pale lagers here and the heat that seems always-present, even in Winter. Quite clear copper and bronze coloured body with a nice, two centimetre tall tan head that fades quickly and leaves just a thin later on top. Aroma of strong malt, light grass, hay and a big dose of mild but noticeable lighter alpha acid hops that show a piney and perfumey kick. Medium-bodied; Strong malty bite at first with a dash of perfume, hay, resin and some pine with a touch of flowers towards the end and only a touch of bitterness from the hops, but more malt altogether. Aftertaste shows the malt and nutty side of things with only a touch of the grain and even less of the hops, which are supposed to be noticeable throughout, but are quite mild throughout and especially at the end. Overall, a dose of flowers and toffee at the end with some mild bitterness with a touch of hops, but more of the nutty and earthy pungency towards the end. Good to sample, and definitely not a bad choice, but perhaps not the best IPA here in Vietnam. Tap at the East West HCMC brewpub. Poured a hazy reddish orange colour with a mostly lasting white head. The aroma is yeast, light cardboard, light peachy citrus. The flavour is herbal, light sour, with a light, crisp, dry, dusty, mineral, herbal, light citrus palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation. Not a beer I would order more one of.
