500ml Bottle (Tack Svesse) - Brown/red in colour with a slight haze and a foamy head. Very fruity aroma with raisins, sultanas, figs, dried banana and a hint of vanilla being detected along with a moderately alcoholic scent. Fairly sweet at first, the taste then becomes a bit hoppy with some roasted and vinous notes. The finish is fairly warming and sweet and the alcohol is noticeable but is not overwhelming. It leaves a nice bittersweet fruity and hoppy aftertaste. Quite distinctive and very tasty.

Gelungenes IPA! Test vom 1.10.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 7,11,11,12,8,11 - 10,60

Draft at Stockholm Beer Festival 2008. A hazy amber beer with a orangey head. The aroma sweet with notes of caramel and strong notes of hops, grass, and grapefruit. The flavor is sweet malty with strong notes of hops, grass, and grapefruit as well as medium notes of straw, and light notes of alcohol, which also leaves a slight burn in the mouth. The finish is very bitter. Nice one.

500ml Bottle (One Pint,Helsinki) - Amber in colour with a lively head. Hoppy aroma with some grapefruit and pineapple notes. Quite fizzy on the tongue at first, the taste is tangy and hoppy with grapefruit and lemon with a fairly bitter finish. Rerated in 2013 - Seems to be hoppier and fresher and have increased the rating from 3.6 to 3.9

Draught at EBF08. Sweet roasted liquorice aroma. The flavour is roasted, slightly smoky. Black colour. No head. 7 3 7 3 17

Bottle. Tar aroma. Very dark brown colour, red shine, seems clear. The flavour is tarry with hard roasted malts. Some smoke and a good hop/alcohol burn in the finish. Rather acidic, balances off the smoke and sweetness. 7 3 7 3 17
