Draught at Glenfiddich Warehouse 68, Stockholm. Dark ruby, rich, firm head. Distinct flowery hop aroma. Fairly light bodied with crisp, caramelly malt character and a floral hoppiness. Lightly salty finish with more than average bitterness. Very similar to, but slightly lighter than Jämtlands Postiljon. This is a good thing!

(Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm, Mar 10) Colour is black with a firm light brown head. Nose is roasted (almost burnt), with hints of juniper bushes, chocolate and tar. Taste is roasted, with juniper berries, burning spruce-twigs and tar. Surpisingly light body, velvety and very drinkable. The best beer I’ve tried from this brewery.

Draught at Bishops Arms in Gothenburg in December 2005 and The Rover March 14.Tasted better this time, either they’ve changed the recipe or I had less to drink before tasting this one. Beautiful dark amber color with a lasting head. Very citrus like hoppy scent and taste. Great bitterness.8/4/8/3/17=4.0

Draught at Bishop’s Arms, Malmö
Dark brown color; thin head. I think it’s served too cold; it has a too light aroma; the flavor is very good, building some sweet maltiness and yeast fruitness around the strong core of roasted malt; then the hop bitterness (with hop aromas hidden by the roasted malt) is taking over, but at the end the bitterness is too high (too long infusion?).

Black color, creamy head. Nice smooth aroma of roasted beans, malt, bread, hop and some yeast. Served at the right temperature, and with a low carbonation, it can easily match a good Real Ale; soft malt body, fresh and smooth, with a lot of fruity caramel, some roasted malt and nuts, aromatic hops; a good balance, all throughout the final as well. Very good.
