Can: Poured a clear yellow color lager with a large white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of cereal notes with some residual sugar notes and faint herbal hoppy notes. Taste is also a mix of clean cereal notes with some sweet notes and faint herbal hops notes and a sweet finish. Body is about average for style with good carbonation. Good pilsner with a clean malt bill but sweeter than I like the style to be.

Poured from 500mL bottle (thanks Derek & JF). Clear blonde with small white head. Nice soft sweet white wine barrel notes, but why do it with a 3.7% abv pilsner base? Nice barrel, but weird combo. A bit flat. Okay.

500mL bottle, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out rustic notes more like a saison, with traces of apple from the oak barrels, and crisp crackery malt. Flavour kind of falls flat, with subtle grass and dry biscuity malt. I don't know if this was more vibrant pre-barrel-aging, but as of now, it's pretty dull. There's no hoppiness or crispness; there's just a very subtle oakiness that lingers a bit. Odd choice of a beer to put in barrels. Not convincing.

Bottle: Poured a black color ale with a large dark brown foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of roasted malt notes with some coffee notes and light rum notes with some persistent green paper notesé taste is also a mix of roasted malt with dry chocolate notes and some floral coffee notes with some rum notes and faint green pepper notes Body is a bit light for style with good carbonation. Not bad however floral coffee notes bring some unwanted green pepper notes.

Can: Poured a pale yellow color ale with a large white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of citrusy hops notes over some lightly sweet wheat malt notes. Taste is also a mix of lightly sweet wheat malt notes with some citrusy hops notes and light floral undertones. Body is about average with good carbonation. Enjoyable and highly drinkable hops forward wheat ale.
